Staying in Morpeth or relaxing in Nelson Bay why not pick up your wine country information and maps at Tranquil Vale while tasting the wine and chatting to the wine maker.
Take Allendale Road, travelling through the Lovedale region, to the T-junction at the end. Turn right on to the New England Highway and as you approach the village of Lochinvar turn left onto Windermere Road, and left again onto Luskintyre Road.
This takes you over the old wooden bridge high above the Hunter River, keep on Luskintyre Rd as it swings around to the right and drive for 3 km, past the Tiger Moth Airfield and then left into Pywells
Road.
Tranquil Vale is the 2nd vineyard on the right.
We are just 6km off the highway at Lochinvar, travelling from Branxton and Greta turn left into Windermere Road as you approach

Or from Newcastle and Maitland drive past the speed camera and take the right hand turning, Windermere Road, as you exit Lochinvar
